Margiela’s hope goes Japanese

The Maison Martin Margiela is extending the reach of their cult AIDS tee shirt project, with plans to release a new edition every year in a different language.

A percentage of the sales is donated to AIDES, a French organisation dedicated to fight the HIV virus and take care of patients living with HIV/AIDS. Since 1994,  170,000 T-shirts have been sold and brought a contribution of over 700,000 euros to ‘AIDES’.

The tee shirt will be available at all Maison Martin Margiela stores from December 1st.
