In September 2003, the designer was signed as Creative Director for a new series of Puma Collections, 96 Hours

HOOD LIGHT BY FORM US WITH LOVE

From @formuswithlove, a suspended felt lamp/ sound absorber "Designed to be both a light source and a sound barrier, Hood forms a halo over the table, catching loose sentences in its thick felt."
The Hood light is modular and can grow to however big it needs to be. Made up of separate felt panels that are assembled on site, the light is a flat-pack product.
Hood was designed for 77-year-old lighting manufacturer ateljé Lyktan and is part of a new venture called Ateljén where a team of designers and craftsmen are available to develop lighting solutions for the contract market.

Fashion/Interiors: What’s Black, White and Yellow All Over?

Sweet modern rooms that have a dramatic and optimistic feel to them, that’s what. After spotting some pretty wild hairdos and makeup trends from London’s Fall 2011 Fashion Week, we can’t help but notice some similar color palettes popping up in interiors.
Black and white, when together and exclusive, create a very modern and stark feeling. They are often used in interiors when one doesn’t want the distraction of things like color, or when one is really seeking to add a lot of drama to a space. Add a little yellow into that, and you punch up the drama and excitement ten fold.

Yellow’s fun when you want to bring some sunshiny cheer into your space, but it’s also a favorite among modernists due to its ability to highlight crisp lines without being too harsh.

Viktor and Rolf Fall 2011: Red in the Face and Ready for Battle

PARIS–The photo pit at l’Espace Ephemere in the Tuileries, impatient with the delay at Viktor and Rolf, began singing, shouting, whistling (there was some raising of middle fingers, too)–anything to spur the lights to dim and the show to start. As if to answer the photogs’ lewd taunts in kind, a draw bridge lowered, angry militaristic music began pumping through the tent, and red-faced models marched down the runway.
